26 May : Match report : 23rd May, Home v Kings Stanley. Another win for Nine Elms keeps us in 2nd place behind Cam who we play on the 6th June at home. Hitan's return showed he hasn't lost any of his batting skills smashing his way to 74. He was supported by Brian(42), Bipin(27), and Chris(20*), as we chased down our biggest total so far of 194. We did lose 7wkts before Sean and Chris scrambled the winning runs in the 44th over.
13 May : Match report : 9th May, Away v Upton St Leonards. A good all-round performance once again from the Elms saw us reach victory in the 40th over with only 5 wickets down. Inserting the opposition paid off with a quick breakthrough in the 2nd over by Phil (3-32) and by the end of his spell he had taken a further 2 more wickets. Girish (3-21) was once again among the wickets and Raks (3-20), also claimed 3 victims in his 8 over spell. Behind the stumps, making his debut in the role of keeper, Alex held onto 2 catches. In reply the openers, Rob (44) & Sean, reached 43 before Sean departed. There were other notable contributions by Raks (25) and Gov (18*) that saw the 2nd win of this campaign.
07 May : Match report : 2nd May - Home v Ruardean Hill. The old adage of catches win matches rang true as some tight bowling backed up by some energetic fielding (yes we held onto 5 catches), restricted RH to 113. Girish taking 4 wickets and there was two apiece for Bipin and Greg, while Phil and Manesh had one each. The reply started well with Rob and Brian taking the score to 35 before the first wicket fell, then four cheap wickets fell quickly before the Patel clan saw us home. Bipin 28, Raks 32*, and Gov 17*
18 Apr : The season got underway today with a 40 over friendly against Woodmancote. Nine Elms totalled 111, with Greg scoring 68. Woodmancote cruised along with 3 dropped catches enabling them to get close to victory until a flurry of wickets made them slightly nervous before they finally won with 4 wickets to spare. Amit Patel took 5 wickets, and was on a hat-trick as he bambozzled their batsmen. The downside to the game was that two players failed to turn up without notifying Rob, so we played with 9 men - not what we need if we are going to mount a successful campaign to gain promotion!
02 Apr : Two friendlies have been arranged - 18th April, 1.30pm vs Woodmancote @ home and 25th April, 2pm vs Kingsholm away. Contact Rob Jordan asap if available.

01 Oct : A dissapointing end to the season, losing the final 2 games, means we drop 2 places to finish 8th. It's now a case of 'wait and see' as to whether we'll be relegated or not.
08 Aug : Sat 1st XI: A game at last!! Not the result we would have liked - lost by 54 runs, but nevertheless a good allround performance. A couple of notable performances - Brian Stokes 64no, NickC 44.
26 Jul : Sat 1st & 2nd XI: Both games this coming weeked are cancelled.
24 Jul : Sat 1st XI: Total washout - no games played. What a season!!
17 Jul : Sat 1st XI: A gutsy batting response on a low scoring wicket sees us pick up important points with a win by 4 wickets. Special mention to Greg Artus - 2 fine catches, the final wicket and a solid 17 with the bat contributed to a winning display. Oh yeah, and Bip scored 25 finishing the game in style with a 6!
10 Jul : Sat 1st XI: With the top scorer this week being Extras, an abysmal batting display (with the exception of Andy & Ian) unsurprisingly ends in another embarrassing defeat by 9 wickets.
02 Jul : Sat 1st XI: A complete washout this weeked - no games played
25 Jun : Sat 1st XI: This week's game was cancelled once again due to rain.
18 Jun : Sat 1st XI: A very strange game to say the least! Batting first, another below par performance sees us bowled out for 50. However, with a determined fielding effort from the start we managed to dismiss the opposition for just 41. Hitan taking 6 wickets for 19 and Nick C taking 4 for 15. Catch of the match was a great team effort - the ball ricocheting off Gov's shoulder at silly mid-on, lobbing up into Girish's hands at mid-on.
12 Jun : Sat 1st XI: In a complete turnaround from last week, we batted first amassing 189 on a reasonable wicket, although boundaries were hard to come by due to the long grass in the outfield. Most notable contribution from Hitan 63. We then managed to bowl out the opposition with 27 runs to spare. Although, if even half of the dropped catches had been taken, it would have been over long before.
05 Jun : Sat 1st XI: An embarrassing batting display results in what must be the lowest ever Nine Elms score. Let's look at it this way... things can only get better!!
27 May : Sat 1st XI: A disappointing performance ends in a loss by 95 runs. A poor fielding display allowed the visitors to score 270. Despite a couple of spirited batting performances from Robbie Jordan (50) and Bipin (59) we eventually fell, all-out for only 175 in reply.
14 May : Under 15's: Tonight's game at Gloucester Civil Service is cancelled
8 May : Sat 1st XI: Highnam away this weekend - 1.30pm start, so meet at the Elmbridge Club at 12.15pm
8 May : Sat 1st XI: A fine win against GCW 3rds saw us claim 20 points this weekend. Notable performances from Stuart Day (80), Hitan (43) and Jon Kemp (4-61). I promised not to mention Bully's dropped sitter - so I won't!
30 Apr : Sat 1st XI: Rob Jordan YOU'RE PICKED! 12pm meet at the club.
29 Apr : A fine all-round performance leads to a solid win against Arcadians in the pre-season friendly this weekend. On a lively and sometimes unpredictable wicket, we batted well throughout the order to provide a challenging target which the visitors looked unlikely to reach with a tight bowling performance from the off.
10 Apr : A complete Club fixture list, including Sunday XI and Under 15's, is now available on this website. Follow the link from the menu on the left. Download and print a complete fixture list here

29 Aug : Sat 1st XI: A disappointing loss by 4 wickets to bottom of the league Saracens sees us finish the season in the bottom half of the league. Catching practice is a definite prerequisite to next season - nuff said!
14 Aug : Sat 1st XI: Another sitter of a catch - Morris!! - didn't detract from a solid all-round team performance to beat Hatherley & Reddings by 4 wickets. Noteable contributions from Hitan (4 for 36), Bip (43) and Arron (40) helped seal another important win.
08 Aug : Sat 1st XI: A fine win against Wickwar this weekend achieved by a tight bowling display and a solid all-round batting performance - no ducks for once! (oh, and don't mention that dropped catch - Morris!!)
31 Jul : Sat 1st XI: For the latest on this weeks game keep your eyes peeled on BBC News - right after the Israel/Iraq/Afghanistan war reports...
25 Jul : Sat 1st XI: An optimistic trek up the to the top of the Cotswold escarpment in a torrential downpour was in vain as, after a short wait, the game was called off.
18 Jul : Sat 1st XI: Another disappointing batting performance (with the exception of Jimbo) means an all-out total of 103 is not enough to see off the visitors' reply with the loss of only 2 wickets.
10 Jul : Sat 1st XI: A strange spongy pitch and sideways sloping wicket made for a very slow & low scoring game. With boundaries scarce, 100 would have seen us home and dry, but it wasn't to be. A valiant fielding effort was in vain (I won't mention 2 dropped catches) losing the tie by 2 wickets. A special mention to Bip who with bowling figures of 4-8 could have won us the game - had it not been for jug avoidance!
05 Jul : Sat 1st XI: A great all round team performance leads to a crucial win against top of the table Highnam. 'Catches win matches' certainly proved true in this exciting encounter with particular mention going to Girlish for some tremendous athleticism (and holding his hand out at the right time).
27 Jun : Sat 1st XI: Only some spirited resistance from Tiny glosses over an embarrasing batting performance all round. However, it just wasn't enough to prevent another disappointing loss this week to Cheltenham Saracens.
1 Jun : Important: Sat 1st XI: This weekend's game is on Sunday due to Terry Fanaloua's farewell bash taking place at Old Richians on Saturday. Meet at 12.30pm.
16 May : Sat 1st XI: Unfortunately rain stopped play after Nine Elms seemed in a dominant position having taken 7 of Woodpeckers wickets for 114 runs, with 10 overs still to bowl.
09 May : Result: Sat 1st XI: A debut century from Stuart Day helps seal first victory in County League by 5 wickets.
20 Apr: Important: Sat 1st XI: Start time for first 2 league fixtures is 1.30pm
20 Apr: Fixtures: Saturday 2nd XI fixture list is now available on this site
